The Sentient Self: Trusting

Understanding Perception Beyond Behaviour

Before communication can be understood,

perception must be trusted.

About this course

This course explores what is often referred to as telepathic communication through the lens of biology, perception, and nervous system function.

Rather than asking you to believe in something abstract, it guides you toward understanding how the body receives, filters, and interprets information both internally and in relation to another being.

Animals do not begin with behaviour. They begin with state. And what they respond to is not what we say, or even what we do but what our nervous system is communicating before either of those.

This is not about developing a skill. This is not about developing a skill. It is about refining a system that already exists within you. And learning to trust what your body is already detecting.

Not through belief but through experience in what the body repeatedly proves to be true. Animals do not begin with behaviour. They begin with state. And what they respond to is not what we say, or even what we do but what our nervous system is communicating before either of those.

This course helps you begin to recognise that layer. Not as something mystical.

But as something measurable, repeatable, and already present within you.

This isn’t energy work. It’s biology.

Not everything that is real is immediately visible.

Some things are only recognised when we learn how to perceive them.

What this Course begins to Reveal:

The role of intention in shaping interaction and outcome

A deeper understanding of electromagnetism as part of living systems

Why trust is not a mindset, but a physiological state that allows perception to become clear

Visualization as a neurological and predictive tool influencing the nervous system and behaviour

Perception as a biological process, not a mystical one

What is commonly called telepathy explored in a grounded, physiological way

How internal sensing (interoception) shapes what you perceive

How intuition relates to nervous system awareness and internal sensing

A grounded understanding of bioelectric communication between living systems

What is often described as telepathic communication can be understood

as the ability to perceive and interpret

subtle layers of information beyond overt behaviour.

The more regulated the body becomes, the more it begins to perceive what was always there.

Why trust is a physiological state, not a mindset!

A different approach

This course does not begin with communication as something you do.

It begins with understanding the processes that make communication possible before thought, before interpretation and before cnscious effort.

It helps you understand what has been happening often unnoticed beneath behaviour, beneath thought, and beneath effort.

Because when perception becomes clearer, communication does not need to be forced.

Position within The Sentient Pathway

This is where the work shifts.

From regulating the body…
to becoming aware of what the body is already perceiving.

Before communication becomes clear between species, the body must become capable of perceiving what is already being exchanged.

This is where trust becomes the gateway to perception and begins to form.

Not as an idea but as a direct result of repeated experience.

For Who is This Course?

This course is for you if you are curious about what lies beneath behaviour in yourself and in the animals you work with.

You do not need to come into this course believing anything. You do not need to be intuitive.
You do not need to have had prior experiences. You only need to be willing to observe.

To notice what changes in your body.
To notice what animals begin to reflect back to you.
To notice what becomes clearer over time.

The Sentient Self - Trusting -

Because once something is consistently experienced, it no longer requires belief.

It becomes something you know.

Who will be your Course Facilitator?

This course is guided by a background in clinical physiotherapy, with over two decades of experience working with the human body including pain, adaptation, compensation, and nervous system regulation.

It is through this lens that this work is approached.

Not as a belief system.

But as a study of how bodies perceive, respond, and communicate both within themselves and in relation to other living beings.

What has often been described as intuitive or telepathic is explored here through observable, repeatable processes grounded in biology.

This allows the work to remain both open… and accountable.

This work did not begin as a concept. It began as a need to live more honestly;
to become more present, more aware, and more attuned to what is real beneath the surface.

Over time, it became clear that authenticity is not something we decide to have.

It is something we allow when we are no longer filtering ourselves through fear.

That same process applies here.

Perception becomes clearer when the system is no longer protecting itself from what it might find.

And what begins as curiosity… often becomes something far more certain.

This above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man.” William Shakespeare

Milyn’s Note:

There was a point where trust did not exist in my system.

Not in my body.
Not in my mind.
Not in the world around me.

What I have learned through animals, through observation, through lived experience  is that trust is not something we decide.

It is something the nervous system allows.

And that changes everything. Because it means trust cannot be forced. It cannot be faked.

And it cannot be bypassed. It must be built. This course is not about asking you to believe in something unseen.

It is about showing you through biology, through interaction, through repeated experience how trust begins to emerge naturally.

Not as an idea. But as a state.

My girls helped me see that, to infinity and beyond.

Please Take Note of the Following:

I am a qualified physiotherapist. I am not registered as a veterinary physiotherapist. Please note that no treatment techniques will be taught. Practices intensify your bond and spoil your animal in an educated way.

This chapter explores aspects of perception that may feel unfamiliar or difficult to immediately explain.

It is important to approach this work without pressure to interpret, prove, or label what you experience.

You are not expected to “get it right,” and there is no requirement to arrive at a specific conclusion.

Some of what is described may be experienced differently by each individual.

At times, what arises may feel subtle, unclear, or uncertain. This is not a problem.

The purpose of this chapter is not to define or confirm what something is
but to help you recognise what you are able to perceive when your system is regulated and attentive.

You are encouraged to remain curious, grounded, and observant.

If something does not feel relevant or clear, simply return to the body,  to breath, to sensation, and to what is directly observable.

Nothing in this work requires belief. Only attention and the willingness to observe what becomes consistent over time.
